About Andrew

With over 15 years’ experience, building and construction has always been a passion of Andrews,  starting from a very young age he loved visiting job sites with his father and completed a carpentry apprenticeship building and renovating heritage homes in the inner city suburbs of Brisbane.

He continued his career joining one of Queensland’s most respected building companies in AVJennings Homes. The great wealth of knowledge and experience he gained during his time with AVJennings was then continued in his long tenure at Alliance Homes and also Stylemaster Homes respectively upon its inception into the Alliance Homes family.

Andrew’s next challenge saw him develop Kalka, a Brisbane based building company specialising in custom built, architecturally designed inner city small lot homes into one of Brisbane’s most renowned and respected building companies. His time as Managing Director at Kalka highlights his attention to detail, quality of build and understanding and knowledge of the residential building and housing market.

Andrew has always remained involved behind the scenes of the Queensland housing and building industry, assisting builders and associates through committees such as the HIA legal services and Technical committee of which he has been a long serving member.

His passion for quality building practises, improved lifestyle through way of creative design and genuine interest in affordable and functional housing in order to offer quality life style to more Queenslanders makes him a very valuable leader for RESI DESIGN HOMES.
